Canada has always been on my bucket list of places to travel. So this summer I decided to visit one of my friends in Toronto! I was so shocked to see how similar the city was! I stayed at her condo in the city and started the evening off with HOT POT! I'd never had Hot Pot before and I love asian cuisine so I was so excited to try it. I was definitely not disappointed with my meal and was excited to try other foods as well.

My second day we woke up early to grab a light breakfast at the French Market. We walked to the Financial District. Took trolley's to see the stadium where the Raptors and Blue Jays play. Then headed to the Hockey Hall of Fame where I learned interesting facts about the American Hockey League, Canadian Hockey Leagues, and Hockey in the Olympics. We had lunch at Impact Kitchen then took the train to the Yonge-Dundas Square which looked similar to Times Square in NYC. We stumbled across the Taste of Vietnam at the Toronto sign. We grabbed some Thai teas then headed back to her place for a nap after walking all day. We then went to dinner at Dasha where I had Oysters and we tried some very tasty Peking Duck.

The next day we started off the day at another small coffee shop before heading to Niagara Falls! When we arrived we immediately got in line for Maid of the Mists tour where we got to take a boat down into the falls. We needed ponchos to stay somewhat dry. After that we walked towards the Journey Behind the Falls and got to see a beautiful rainbow and the cool tunnels that were used to create hydro power. Lunch was a tasty burger at Morton's Grille.

We then journeyed to the top of Skylon Tower's Observation Deck to get a view from above. It was starting to get late in the day and with a long drive back towards the city, we stopped at an outlet store to go shopping and avoid a bit of traffic. That night we grabbed a quick bite to eat at Homemade Ramen.
The next morning I packed up and we grabbed and early lunch of Bah Mi! Then flew back home. I had a great time and can't wait to return!
